The overall objective of the project is as follows:

To reducing poverty through sustained wealth creation, improved health delivery, food security through modernization of agriculture, improved standard of education, promotion of welfare of the vulnerable (women, children, disabled) and ensuring good governance.

To reduce poverty level of the people, through effective and efficient revenue mobilization, equitable distribution of resources, improve basic social services and create avenues for participation in decision making, social protection implementation at a pace of reaching all its citizenry.

Scope 

The scope of works includes the following:

a) Site clearing and preparation

(b) Earthwork – this includes excavation, filling, dressing, dewatering, etc.

(c) Concrete work – this includes plain and reinforced concrete works, prefabricated concrete works, formwork for concrete structures, etc.

(d) Brickwork – this includes brickwork in foundation and plinth, brickwork in superstructures, etc.

(e) Stonework – this includes stone work for bed or wave protection and in structures, etc.

(f) Woodwork

(g) Steelwork

(h) Roofing

(i) Water supply and sanitary works

(j) Miscellaneous

(k) Finishing

Testing and commissioning of works

Preparation of project management documentation including Quality management plans, environmental & safety management plan
