A powerful government delegation from the West African country of Sierra Leone has paid a two-day visit to Prefos Ltd in Kumasi.. Led by the Minister of Energy, Alhaji Kanja Sesay, the delegation toured the company’s facilities at Adako-Jachie in Ejisu, Kumasi and visited some of its project sites.
Speaking to newsmen in Kumasi during the tour, Mr. Kanja said the delegation was satisfied with the company’s infrastructural capacity and its professionalism. He said Ghana and Siarra Leone are already cooperating at various levels of national development, and looks forward to having a fruitful relationship with Prefos Ltd. He said the provision of streetlight infrastructure in Sierra Leone is a major need of that country and hoped Prefos Ltd would share its vast experience and knowledge with his country.
The Chief Executive Officer of Prefos Ltd, Mr. Alexie K. Fosu thanked the delegation for their visit. He was hopeful that both parties would be able to work together in their mutual interest.
The delegation included Special Envoy for Trade and Investment in the Office of the President of Sierra Leone, Allie Turaykey, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy, Tamba Gbetuwa, the Chief Director of Energy, Ing. Benjamin Kamara, and the EDSA Board Chairman Robin Mansaray.
