Prefos Ltd has donated an amount of 150,000 cedis to the National COVID Trust Fund set up by President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to mobilize active corporate support to fight the Coronavirus.
The company also presented over 4000 hand sanitizers, 200 veronica buckets, 200 tables, and 100 PPE’s totaling 250, 000 cedis.Speaking at the presentation ceremony at the Flagstaff House Annex on behalf of the CEO, Mr. Dickson Tweneboah-Koduah said the donation was the company’s response to the President’s appeal for corporate support to combat the virus.He said Prefos considers the gesture as part of its corporate social responsibility and called on other companies and benevolent Ghanaians to support the President’s initiative.
He praised the Government for its management of the virus and called on every Ghanaian to support the President in the fight against the virus.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the people of Ghana, a former Chief Justice, Justice Sophia Akuffo, who is also the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees commended Prefos Ltd for its timely donation.
She said the items were very thoughtful because they were essential and in high demand. She was also full of praise for the financial donation and thanked the company profusely for its king gesture. Justice Sophia Akuffo prayed for God’s blessing for Prefos Ltd and said the items will be deployed for its intended use to bring relief to Ghanaians.
